Shipping and Live Arrival Guarantee

Please call or e-mail before ordering. Our inventory is constantly changing and 'here today, gone tomorrow' is the norm. Our inventory price lists are updated at the 1st of the month and 'New Arrivals' are of course updated as shipments are received. If you are interested in something that is not on our list, please inquire!, we are able to get most anything that we are legally able to keep. We accept credit card payments via PayPal and should have a merchant account set up shortly to accept credit card payments without having the PayPal account. We also accept Check and Money Order payments and these should be made payable to Beckman's Arachnoculture. Checks will of course have to clear before shipment. Wire transfers are available and we will send information upon request.

We ship Monday through Wednesday via UPS, USPS, and FedEx for most animal shipments. Shipping is usually $25.00 for inverts' and many reptile orders. Shipping costs are calculated by weight and will vary depending upon ordered items. Shipping venomous snakes must be done via airline and we ship freight collect to your nearest airport. We require that you supply the airport code for your destination airport. Shipping via airline usually costs approximately $30 - $50 depending on your location. Shipping is available to US customers only at this time, and all funds must be in US dollars only. Any animals regulated by C.I.T.E.S. will only be shipped after the applicable permits are issued and this will likely cause shipping delays. NO sales of any venomous reptiles or dangerously venomous arachnids will be shipped to minors...period. We require a copy of your drivers license for age verification before shipment. All sales of dangerously venomous  animals are left to our discretion. You must check your state and local laws before ordering venomous reptiles. We will not ship to areas which ban the keeping of venomous animals unless a certified waiver or grant can be provided. Florida residents must provide a copy of their Venomous Reptile Permit before shipment...No exceptions. There is a $30 boxing and handling fee for all venomous reptile order under $500.00. Hot/Cold packs are required when the temperatures are above 80F and below 50F and cost $2.00 per pack. Styrofoam lined boxes are required during winter and cost an additional $3.00.

We guarantee that all animals will arrive alive and outwardly healthy. This offer extends only to animals which were picked up within 5 hours of arrival from the carrier. We cannot guarantee live arrival if the shipping carrier delays shipping or other damage done during shipment. Claims for DOA because of shipping problems must be made with the carrier. All claims for live arrival must be made within 48 hours and we may, at our discretion, require proof. This guarantee does not apply to free animals. We are not responsible for shipping costs on replacement animals. Guarantee is for a replacement animal or store credit if a replacement is not available. No cash refunds. If you are not satisfied with your shipment, please call and we'll make every effort to resolve any issues. We are happy to answer any questions you may have, so please don't hesitate to ask! Pictures can be sent of individual animals if requested...when reasonable. I wont dig up a trapdoor spider for a photo, etc. Shipping animals is normally a very smooth operation and DOA is very rare. So order with confidence...If it is not healthy, we will not ship it! We screen WC reptiles for parasites and medicate as necessary...NOT Shotgunned! Feeding is established for WC animals before they are available for purchase!

Florida residents must add 6% sales tax to all orders.
